National conferences on electron microscopy, held by the Scientific council on electron microscopy of RAS, for more than 50 years. All these years A.V. Shubnikov Institute of crystallography, RAS and the Institute of problems of microelectronics technology and high purity materials, RAS provided the strongest support to the conferences.

National conferences became the central information field for Russian scientists and provides them knowledge and skills in the new high-tech equipment, scientific contacts and promoting the involvement of young people. Typically, these conferences are carried out every two years.

XXVII conference will be held August 28-30, 2018 in the city of Chernogolovka, Moscow region and will be dedicated to the memory of the outstanding scientist, corresponding member of RAS N.A. Kiselev. According to established tradition before the conference, the School for young scientists will be held August, 26-27 2018.

It’s planned that foreign scientists and manufacturers of equipment will be invited for participation to the Conference and School. Articles will be published in a separate brochure; some of them will be included to scientific journals listed at the Web of Science.
